Justin J Reeves, LLC (JJR Company), the Prime Contractor, modified existing concrete slab by saw cutting and removing ten 16’x16’ concrete sections to install spread footings for new metal building columns.  Rebar and anchor bolts were set at proper elevations to receive new metal building canopy.  Columns, purlins, and standing seam roof were installed for the 6300SF canopy.  All metal building components were primed and painted to support the weather conditions for exterior use.  A second canopy was installed over existing HVAC equipment that remained in service during installation.  This canopy required welded supports tying into the existing structure.  Bar joists were then added to support a new standing seam roof that totaled 4500SF.  The canopies provided adequate clearance for equipment storage, as well protection for the equipment from the weather and related elements. The existing building was then tied into the existing lighting system, while the metal building was grounded.
