Modernization of Building 266

Building 266 project was a design/build to repurpose the facility to suit specialized equipment for the U.S. Navy. The electrical scope of work included a complete electrical upgrade to handle the increased load demands of the equipment and HVAC system. JJR engineered and installed the required service to power the new and upgraded equipment in the building to include transformers, main switchboard, main distribution panel and sub panels. All fixtures were replaced for modern looks and energy efficiencies.  

The project also included the design and install of a new fire suppression and fire alarm system. Other work included the design and install of new fire rated walls, simple saver insulation system, expanded telecommunications, the rehabilitation of structural steel for the building, and the installation of specialized HVAC equipment.
